I went back and forth for a while about how I wanted to kick off this site. I knew I wanted to share the process as our family (and my belly) grows, but I wasn’t sure how much and when I would be ready (or have the time!) to share the process of having another baby.
Once we got past the first trimester and heard the heartbeat (I’m superstitious), I finally felt ready to go ahead and share our experience.
So we have told everyone we know and love, after what seemed like an eternity. I feel like we waited a while but eventually made it official with family, at work and of course… social media (which somehow makes it completely official?).
So this is where we’ll begin this adventure.
It’s my intention to share the good, bad, and ugly of growing a human. Now, keep in mind, I’ve done this before, so there will be times when I will have a good deal of insight with the ability to prepare for the future months ahead. There will also be times when I will forget everything I learned the first go around and have to relive it once again.
That being said, there are tons of things I have wanted to do differently if I got a second chance to go through this whole process. And there is still so much to learn and so many tips I still don’t know about.
So while this is a place where I will openly share my experience and knowledge, I have no idea how to parent TWO kids (I’m an only child for goodness sake) and I’m going to have a lot of questions and need guidance.
