Thai Sports Workshop: Level 1

Learn how to adequately and safely apply dynamic stretching techniques coupled with palm pressing compressions designed to increase flexibility and range of motion. If you train with a partner or a team, this is the class for you. This class will do wonders wonders for your overall performance, give you a better understanding of how to take care of yourself and support your team mates at the same time.

This specific style of Thai is designed for athletes who are interested in avoiding injury, increasing stamina and endurance, and improving overall flexibility and agility.

Recovery for runners

Learn how to release tension and target trigger points in your muscles. Self MyoFascial Release (SMR) helps improve posture, increases muscle and joint flexibility, helps to prevent injury, and reduces pain from high intensity training.

This class is an opportunity to learn some basics about taking care of your body during high intensity training.  We start with the basics, and progress to intermediate and advanced techniques depending on the needs of class participants.  Comfortable workout clothing (not-loose fitting) is recommended.  The goal is to give you the tools for a simple routine that you can use to improve your health, recovery and function while you train for the marathon and any other race in your future.

Boot Camp in The Park

Make your body sweat “boot camp” style! Get together with your friends for some outdoor fun! In this class, you’ll experience a combination of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core exercises with functional movement patterns weaved in to keep you on your toes and feeling strong and integrated.

This workout is designed for MAXIMUM calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. The purpose is to build strength, stamina, and mobility while having fun and sweating buckets. And don’t be surprised if we use the playground as part of our gym!

This class is suitable for all ages. Workouts are outside so please dress accordingly.

Partner massage workshop

This workshop is designed to introduce couples with specific massage techniques that help relieve tension, occurring during pregnancy and labor. By applying simple, easy to use techniques, a partner can help alleviate some of that nagging tension brought on by a growing belly and baby.

This is a great opportunity for your partner to feel prepared and empowered when assisting once labor kicks in and relief is needed!
Participants need no experience but they do need to be able to get down and up from the ground. Comfortable clothing and a water bottle are recommended.
